How Greysafe is funded

Greysafe relies heavily on the generosity and assistance of members of the public and sponsors to be able to fund our advocacy campaigns on behalf of older Australians. There are so many ways you can help us help older Australians who are receiving or at risk of elder abuse and neglect. For businesses and sponsors that want to showcase their ‘Greysafe friendly’ credentials, scroll down below the donate button on this page to check out some partnership and sponsorship options.

For individuals who would like to assist our work and campaigns:

Buy a one off ‘Lifetime Membership’ for you or on behalf of anyone aged 60 and over

We know there are a lot of very worthy causes out there. So if you’re considering making a donation or becoming a member of Greysafe, we believe we should give you something in return.

We offerer a one off ‘Lifetime’ membership for anyone aged 60 and over. For the younger members of our community, what better gift to give your parents, grandparents or an older Australian than a lifetime membership that will pay forward much more than a one off $45 membership fee.

In return for joining up, the nominated Greysafe member will receive ongoing and significant benefits by way of:

  • Discounts on negotiated goods, services and experiences. We are currently working hard to negotiate some very attractive discounts and deals with businesses, advisers and services that will result in some real savings for our members.
  • The opportunity to select and highlight issues and campaigns for Greysafe to prioritise with government and in the media.
  • The opportunity to get involved in our sub committees, campaign initiatives and take part in surveys and policy development.

This one off membership fee will allow us to hit the ground running and get our campaigns under way asap. We will use new membership fees exclusively to help fund  investigations and expose cases of abuse, neglect and exploitation of older Australians.
